Inspired Hairstyles You'll Want to Steal .......*wink*

You all know its my custom to look for ways to make my readers look fabulous with little or no effort right ? ok I have something again. *wink* these two looks inspire me simply because you can do it yourself and you can wear the look for different occasions.

Even if you're an I-wear-my-hair-down-everyday kind of girl, you don't have to be all the time. it's fun and chicky to do something a little more stylized to your hair from time to time.
Here are two tutorials to get you started: one for a chic side-ponytail braid and another for a feminine French twist, worn by two of street style's most famous faces: stylist-slash-designer Rachel Zoe, and socialite-turned-style icon Olivia Palermo

  •  .
First up, Rachel Zoe's elegant side-ponytail braid. Yes, it looks complicated, but I assure you it isn't.
    Here's how to recreate R. Zoe's look:

    1. "Start by parting the hair using your pinky finger, beginning in line with the middle of your right eyebrow and ending behind your left ear," says Fugate. "This diagonal part sets up your hair to flow to the left, which is the direction you're going to be braiding it toward."
    2. "Put the hair that falls on the right side of the part in a ponytail (so that it's out of your way) and then loosely grab three sections at the hairline and get ready to start braiding," he adds.
    3. "Once you start braiding, only pull in sections of hair that fall along the hairline, so that the braid stays toward the front like a headband," Fugate says.
    4. Secure the braid behind your ear with an elastic hair tie.
    5. "Take the hair to the right of your part out of the ponytail it was in and grab it, along with the braided ponytail," he says. "Make sure to leave out a one-inch thick section of hair at the nape of your neck, since you'll need that to wrap around the elastic band in the next step."
    6. "Take the bottom section you left out in the previous step and wrap it around the hair tie to conceal it," says Fugate.
    7. "Secure the wrapped hair with a bobby pin by inserting it into the hair elastic—this will hold the hair in place better," he adds. Then, as Madonna would say, "strike a pose."

Next up, Olivia Palermo's French twist. Looks hard to do at home but: YOU CAN DO IT!

Here's how to get Olivia's dainty 'do:

    1. "Part your hair once in the center, and then section off two front pieces by parting your hair again from the center part down the side of your head, ending directly in front of your ears," says Fugate.
    2. "Clip the front sections forward, so they're out of your way, and then take small sections of hair all over your head and finger tease them for a Johnny Depp in Edward Scissorhands-like texture," he says. "Back-combing with a brush can wreck your hair, but lightly pushing your hair towards your scalp won't damage, but will still help tease it."
    3. "Once you have that fluffy, mussed-up texture all over, grab all of your hair (not including the two front pieces) with your palm facing upward and your thumb facing the floor—now you're ready to do the twist," says Fugate.
    4. "Start turning your hair to the right until it's tightly twisted and tuck the ends into the twist," he explains.
    5. Secure the twist with bobby pins so it doesn't unravel.
    6. "Unclip the front sections and drape them in a curved manner along each side of your head," says Fugate. "Then, lock them into the French twist with a few more bobby pins. If you have bangs or layers, you may want to use the clips to help keep your hair swooped in place until you can hairspray it for a more secure hold."
    7. Finish with a light hairspray to help everything stay put, and then pose, because girl, you look good.

Its simple and fabulous... I know you cant wait to wear this look.
    Yeah you are welcome.
