FASHION, PEOPLE AND GIST: Oscar Red Carpet

This award season has featured a lot of good and bad, best dressed and worst dressed and the ones who deserve more than oscar for their dressing and the ones who deserved to be sentenced for life by fashion police.Like every other red carpets +Oscars 2014 was no exception.
This is the night when the world's biggest stars step out in fashion's most beautiful gowns. In terms of trends, a spectrum of nudes dominated the red carpet +cate blanchett in +Armani , +Jessica Biel in +CHANEL , +Naomi Watts in +Calvin Klein Collection and +julie delpy in Jenny Packham.
Meanwhile nominees +Amy Adams , +SANDRA BULLOCK and +Lupita Nyong'o are bound to top best dressed lists in their shades of blue navy +GUCCI , midnight +Alexander McQueen and egg shell +Prada , respectively.
It was no suprise that +Jennifer Lawrence was back in Dior, although she swapped last year's voluminous silhouette for something more sleek. +Charlize Theron accessorised her Dior black gown with $15 million worth of +Harry Winston .Meryl Streep in a Lanvin dress.

Am a great fan of keeping it simple and this is simply awesome.

I love the fact that the dress is not the usual dress, its fun, its edgy, its sweet and am loving +Anna Kendrick in a J.Mendel autumn/winter 2014 gown

+Anne Hathaway brought style too to the carpet, although would have loved her to do something more wow.

+Faysal Ahmed and +Barkhad Abdi both look cool

And the power couple brought elegant power to the carpet. hehehehehe *wink* +Brad Pitts and +Angelina Jolie who wore an +Elie Saab gown

+cate blanchett in an Armani Privé embellished gown, I think it doesn't fit with her usual personality of sassy/individual. still beautiful

Probably because am a fan of simplicity, this dress is nice but too.......... i am yet to get the exact word i want to use.

+Glenn Close look really fabulous and age appropriate in +Zac Posen,

hmmmmmm!!!!!!!! something is not right about this look and am yet to figure out what it is.

+chris hemsworth look really good but what on earth is +Elsa Pataky wearing? what point is she trying to proove? did she leanr from +Kim Kardashian that too fitted dress when pregnant is hidious?

As much as i love +Jennifer Garner and as much as i love this dress it is not nice on her at all.

+Jennifer Lawrence in a simple red Dior dress, I love everything about this look, i love her jewelry too.

+Julia Roberts can hardly do wrong with me but this is so ill-fitting, I hate this +Riccardo Tisci by Givenchy dress on her, its ugly.

I love emerald green any day, any time and the dress is sweet and age appropriate.

in the age of cape wearing, this is cute and lovely.

This is the most hideous and hilarious dress i have seen in a long time. this is ugly and ill-fitting.the makeup the accessories the color................................................the list is endless
